AirAsia wants To End Malaysia Air Joint Venture


Low cost carrier AirAsia wants to end its joint venture deal with national carrier Malaysia Airlines (MAS), according to a report in the Malaysian Business Times.

The report quotes an unidentified source claiming that AirAsia had decided at a board meeting last week that it would soon terminate its MAS agreements.
AirAsia founded in 1993 first operation was in 1996 total fleet 62 Airbus A320.

Flybe Celebrate ten years


Leading regional airline marks tenth anniversary of changed business model with limited time 10% ticket sale on key selected routes

 2012 is a significant year for Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, as it today celebrates the tenth anniversary since its changed business model transformed the then 23-year old airline, into Flybe. To mark the occasion it is offering 10% off bookings made before midnight on July 25th for travel through to October 25th on a selection of popular routes that include those serving some key Scottish airports as well as Belfast City, Birmingham, Exeter, London Gatwick, Southampton, and Amsterdam and Paris Charles de Gaulle.

Jetstar Japan operate 24 new Airbus A320




Jetstar Japan will operate with 24 new Airbus A320 aircraft. All the aircraft will be delivered to the company in the next three years. The low cost Airline started its commercial flight on 3 July with 3 new Airbus A320 180 seats each one and the fourth aircraft will be delivered next month.

Jetstar Japan new Airlines founded on 2011 based at Narita International Airport, Tokyo and the first operation started by serving domestic flight.

Austrian Airlines will switch the fleet to Airbus


Austrian Airlines will switch from Boeing 737 to Airbus A320 as they ordered new 5 A320 after the first order of 2 A320 and the new fleet of Airbus A320 will be in operation by mid-October 2012 and all the 7 A320 will be in service by the next summer 2013 and in parallel they will start withdrawing the Boeing 737-800 as they already sold four aircraft 737s.



Austrian Airlines has a total fleet of 81 Aircrafts including Boeings for long-haul flight, and mix Bombardier Dash and Fokker planes for Short-haul flights and the A320 will be for the medium-hall flights.

150 Aircraft Boeing 737 ordered by United Airlines





United Airlines ordered 150 Aircrafts from Boeing 737 , United Airlines already ordered 50 Boeing’s 737-900ER will be delivered next year and the 100 new Boeing 737 Max will be delivered in 2018. This order will replace older Boeing 757-200s , the new aircrafts are more fuel-efficient than the older about 15%
United Airlines ordered 150 Boeing 737s on Thursday, a big win for the jet-maker and a clear sign that the world's largest airline is shifting increasingly toward Boeing planes.

United Airlines is a U.S Airline founded and operation started on 1926, United Airlines operating the second-largest fleet with 703 aircraft serve 1,000 destinations in over 170 countries worldwide.

Middle East Airlines Signed a order with Airbus



The flag carrier of Lebanon Middle East Airlines has signed a protocol for 10 Aircrafts with Airbus 5 A320neo and 5 A321neo.

Middle East Airlines was founded on 1945. The first operation flight started on January 1946.
Total fleet in service now 17 Aircrafts 9 A320-200, 4 A321-200, 4 A330-200 so with the new order of 5 A320neo and 5 A321neo the total fleet will be 27 Aircraft.

Middle East Airlines offers only two classes of travel on board all its flights Cedar Class “Business Class” and Economy Class. First and Premium Economy are not offered.

WestJet Company signed a conditional order 20 Bombardier Q400




WestJet Canadian Company based at Calgary signed an order for 20 Aircraft Q400 NextGen turboprops from Bombardier Aerospace.

The Q400 NextGen Version of the Q400 updated cabins, lighting system, windows, overhead bins, landing gear reduced fuel consumption.

Etihad Airways awarded by Airbus for the 2nd time


Etihad Airways the flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates has received Airbus Award “Top Operational Excellence Award” for the fleet of A340 and this is the second time that Etihad Airways has been received an award by Airbus. The wining criteria of this award for the number of take-offs, flying hours, operations and how rapidly they recovered from any delays.

The total A340 operated by Etihad Airways 4 A340-500s and 7 A340-600s.
